This practical workshop, run by Donna Irving from Leeds Trinity University, will introduce critical appraisal fundamentals. You’ll learn about study designs, methodological strengths and weaknesses, and recognise research biases—essential skills for supporting evidence-based practice.

Strengthen your research support skills and help users navigate published literature with greater critical insight.

The morning will end with a tour of Leeds Trinity’s new campus – right in the city centre, 2 minutes from the train station.

Afterwards you are invited to an optional networking lunch in a nearby Leeds restaurant (please note, you would need to pay for your own meal).

As this is an in-person workshop, places are limited to 20 so book early to avoid disappointment!
