This event will be of interest to staff in ALN institutions who work in roles where they are a solo specialists/have a single point of expertise, which can cause issues around support and isolation.

The session will have two parts:

– focusing on individuals who are the sole experts in their area and how they manage that role.

– how managers can support staff, plan for succession, resilience, and knowledge sharing.

There will be presentations from Lancaster, Leeds Trinity, Sheffield, Teesside and York St John, as well as opportunities for questions and group discussions.
