Careers Series 1 - Applications that get you interviews (Hosted by LJMU)
About this event
Date: Postponed - new date TBC
Time: 2.00 - 4.00pm
This in-person event is the first in a series of career-related events, aimed at staff grades 3-6.
Whether you are actively applying for roles or starting to think about the next step in your career, the job application is the first step of the recruitment process. Come to this session to understand how managers shortlist candidates, what we are looking for in an application, and how to ensure that you are selling your skills and experience in the best way to make it to the interview stage!
In this practical session, we will be understanding person specifications, looking at examples of personal statements, giving you the chance to mark and shortlist, looking at video applications, and answering your questions.
As this is a face-to-face workshop, numbers are restricted to 20 - book early to avoid disappointment!
