Join us for this online event focused on innovative marketing and social media engagement in academic libraries. Our contributors will discuss their experiences and insights into the evolving landscape of library marketing and social media, share their successful marketing campaigns and social media management tools.

10.30am: Welcome and Introduction – Sandra Tranmer - Hull
10.35am: Alison Sharman – Huddersfield (Short paper - 15-20 mins)
Alison will talk about the marketing campaigns at Huddersfield, the training they received from Ned Potter and the marketing toolkit that they put together.
10.55am: Jackie Oliver & Charlotte Murray – Teesside (Lightning Talk - 5-10 mins)
Jackie and Charlotte will share details of Teesside’s Experience & Engagement Team "love your library" campaign which ran in the last academic year.
11.05am: Kirsty Barnfather – Durham (Lightning Talk - 5-10 mins)
Kirsty will contribute Durham’s experiences of running their library social media accounts and their development over the last few years.
11.15am: Break (5 mins)
11.20am: Ned Potter – York (Longer paper - 20-30 mins)
Ned will run a 'Current state of academic library social media' round-up which would incorporate some newer resources, such as Bluesky.
11.45am: Discussion (10 mins)
Ideas for building a culture of teamwork when it comes to Library social media, from content creation to partnerships. Challenges and successes.
Measuring success: how to track engagement and success; data and information that led to changes/improvements to services and/or Library usage.
11.55am: Close and sharing of feedback form (5 mins)
